(SUGAR LAND, Texas) - The Sugar Land Skeeters dropped the finale of their doubleheader Saturday night, with a 2-1 loss to the El Paso Chihuahuas at Constellation Field.

Yorman Rodriguez put El Paso out in front with a pinch-hit solo home run in the sixth inning off right-hander Michael Kelly. It was Rodriguez's first home run since being promoted to El Paso.

The Skeeters tied the game at 1-1 in the second inning on a base-loaded walk from Miguelangel Sierra. Luis Campusano opened the scoring with an RBI double in the first inning.

JJ Matiejvic walked with one out in the sixth inning and moved to third on a wild pitch. He was stranded there, though, as Sierra popped out to end the inning.

Colin McKee got the start for the Skeeters and struck out five batters, while allowing one run, through 2 2/3 innings. Jordan Guerrero received the win after tossing two scoreless innings of relief. James Norwood set the Skeeters down in order in the ninth to collect his third save of the year.

The Skeeters and Chihuahuas continue their seven-game series at 6:05 p.m. on Sunday at Constellation Field.
