
Six Sharks Named CPL All Stars, Graham to Final Vote

The Coastal Plain League announced the rosters for the 2016 All Star Game, and have named six players from the Wilmington Sharks to the East division team.
Mike Castellani (Bucknell) has been the ace this season in the Sharks' pitching rotation and will be the starting pitcher for the East team. He currently leads the league in earned run average (1.97), innings pitched (45.2) and wins (6).
Cletis Avery (Presbyterian) is the East's starting shortstop and has the Sharks' second highest batting average (.326) and is third in the CPL in stolen bases (16).
Alec Bohm (Wichita State) will start at third base for the East. He's tied for the league lead in home runs (8) and is second in the league in RBIs (30).
Mark Donadio (Fordham) was named a outfield substitute and boasts the team's highest batting average (.356). He leads the league in walks (21) and is third in on base percentage (.504).
Connor Riley (USC Aiken) is also in the pitching rotation for Wilmington and leads the league in strikeouts (59). He's struck out nine or more batters in all five of his decisions.
Ryan Kelly (St. Joseph's) has been one of the closers for the Sharks and leads the team in saves (5). In his 10 appearances, he's only allowed one earned run.
