Logan Simmons provided the Crosscutters first home run of the season, coming in Williamsport s 4-2. 10-inning loss to State College.
Simmons finished the night 1 for 4 with the home run and a RBI. Brayan Gonzalez scored the 2nd Cutters run, beating the tag at home on a wild pitch.
Leonel Aponte got the start for Williamsport, allowing one run (earned) on two hits over four innings of work. Aponte surrendered a solo home run to Dariel Gomez.
Michael Gomez surrendered one run (earned) over and inning of work on three hit and and a walk, striking out two. Luis Cedeno worked three shutout innings, striking out two and hitting two batters.
Alejandro Made took the loss, allowing two runs (one earned) in relief. Made worked two innings, striking out a pair. He allowed back-to-back RBI doubles with two outs in the top of the 10th.
