Silvertips Pull out 7-3 Win in Wenatchee

WENATCHEE, Wash. - The Everett Silvertips scored six unanswered goals to down the Wenatchee Wild 7-3 at the Town Toyota Center on Sunday night.

Everett fell behind early, as two goals from Graham Sward had the Wild leading 2-1 at the end of one. A Maddix McCagherty goal at 3:53 in the second period put the Wild up 3-1.

Dominik Rymon kick-started the Silvertips' comeback at 6:07 in the second period, rifling a one-timer home on the powerplay for his first of the night. Teague Patton knotted the score at 12:41 with a second goal on the man advantage. A Carter Bear snipe at 18:28 sent the Silvertips into the second intermission leading 4-3.

Julius Miettinen netted two goals in the third period, with Rymon adding a second goal of his own to help lead the Silvertips to a comfortable 7-3 victory.

Tyler Palmer stopped 25 of 28 in the win, his 17th of the campaign.
