Silvertips Outdistance Calgary in the Third

Everett, WA - The Everett Silvertips used a three-goal third period to blank the Calgary Hitmen 4-0 on Tuesday night at Angel of the Winds Arena.

Riley Sutter and Bryce Kindopp powered the Everett attack with a goal and an assist while Dustin Wolf made 26 saves for his second shutout of the season.

Dawson Butt and Martin Fasko-Rudas also scored for the Western Conference leaders.

The loss snapped Calgary's three game winning streak on a night when the Hitmen were outshot 33-26.

The road trip continues tomorrow, Wednesday, Nov. 21 in Portland against the Winterhawks before making stops in Seattle (Nov. 23) and Tri-City (Nov. 24). The swing will then conclude in Red Deer on Nov. 30.

The Hitmen won't be back in the Scotiabank Saddledome until Saturday, Dec. 1 when they host the Edmonton Oil Kings.
