Everett Silvertips News Release
EVERETT, Wash. - The Everett Silvertips (@WHLSilvertips) will open their 2015-16 home schedule at XFINITY Arena on Saturday with "Fill The House Night" for Housing Hope and presented by BECU, 7:05 p.m. (Fox Sports 1380/WHL Live) against the Spokane Chiefs.
A limited amount of tickets remain on sale as a large crowd is expected at XFINITY Arena for the game, and are available at XFINITY Arena's website, by phone at (425) 252-5100 or the XFINITY Arena box office. Tickets are on sale for as low as $22 via a special online offer, including an upper level seat and limited edition Silvertips flat bill cap. For each ticket offer purchase, a donation as high as $7 will be forwarded to Housing Hope, providing housing opportunities for emergencies and low income families.
Lower level seats remain available on an extremely limited basis, and are available through the "Fill The House" offer for $25. All "Fill The House" ticket offers are available online only.
The first 3,500 fans in attendance will also receive a collectible Silvertips magnetic schedule for the 2015-16 season, presented by Lamoureux Real Estate Magnetic and Sound Transit, featuring defenseman and Montreal Canadiens first round draftee (2015) Noah Juulsen.
The Silvertips Concert Series launch also coincides with the 2015-16 home opener, presenting live music from recording artists and Seattle's own "High Voltage." The group, experienced in a variety of covers from The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, AC/DC, Pearl Jam and more, are scheduled to perform inside XFINITY Arena before the game and during the first and second intermissions.
Everett claimed a 5-3-0 record against Spokane last season, also defeating the Chiefs in the opening round of the WHL postseason for their first playoff series win since 2006-07.
The Silvertips will return to play again on Sunday at 4:05 p.m. (Fox Sports 1380/WHL Live), hosting the Prince Albert Raiders at XFINITY Arena in the only meeting between the teams this season. Prince Albert enters the weekend at 4-1-0, receiving honorable mention in the BMO CHL Top-10 Rankings as selected by a panel of National Hockey League scouts.
