Silvertips Launch, Introduce New Mobile App

EVERETT, Wash. - The Everett Silvertips have launched an official Silvertips Mobile Application ("App") presented by Tulalip Resort Casino, available for downloading on demand via the iTunes Store and Android Market. The app features daily news and updates along with the latest standings, schedule and an interactive roster. Integrated ticketing is only a tap away, allowing fans to purchase Silvertips tickets from within the app.
The Silvertips app is also scheduled to include up-to-the-minute highlights, photo galleries, and special offers, and will feature the Silvertips Country Club - a new program that rewards fans for their loyalty to the Tips.
In addition, the application will feature occasional video footage which connects users with the Silvertips with exclusive content.
"The evolving marketplace of technology has called us to put the experience of Silvertip Country into the hands of many loyal fans," said Silvertips executive vice president and assistant general manager Zoran Rajcic. The Official Everett Silvertips app is powered by Hopscotch, a leading Mobile-as-a-Service company for sports teams and event organizers. Hopscotch technology empowers the Silvertips to:
- Automatically publish breaking news and updates from www.everettsilvertips.com, the Silvertips official Twitter account (@WHLSilvertips) and official Facebook account.
- Use a points system to reward Silvertips fans for their purchasing loyalty at XFINITY Arena and establishments of local Silvertips business partners.
- Give fans on-demand access to Silvertips ticket purchasing, offers and information.
- Provide ease-of-access to XFINITY Arena maps, directions and parking tips, and detailed venue seating chart.
- Deliver game-day lineups, a comprehensive roster, up-to-the-minute Silvertips team statistics, sortable team leaders and WHL standings.
The Official Silvertips app presented by Tulalip Resort Casino is available now for a free download at the iTunes Store and Google Play.
