
Shorebirds Rained out in K-Town

KANNAPOLIS, NC - Due to wet grounds and continuing rain, tonight's Delmarva Shorebirds-Kannapolis Intimidators game has been postponed.
The Shorebirds and Intimidators will make up the game as part of a doubleheader this coming Thursday, May 31. First pitch of game one is scheduled for 5:05 p.m. with game two to follow approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game. Both games will last seven innings.
Delmarva and Kannapolis will now open their three-game series on Wednesday night with the Shorebirds' Cameron Bishop (4-3, 3.19) matching up against the Intimidators' Zach Lewis (1-1, 3.91). First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m., and pregame coverage of the first game on Fox Sports 960 AM and the MiLB First Pitch app begins at 6:20 with Will DeBoer on the call.
