Shorebirds Announce Roster Moves

IF Anthony Caronia promoted to Frederick (Advanced-A)...OF Creede Simpson activated off the Disabled List...OF Derrick Bleeker added from the GCL Orioles and placed on the Disabled List [25 + 3 DL]

Caronia batted .278 in 20 games for the Shorebirds. This is his second promotion to Frederick this season.

Simpson, who was placed on the DL on May 3, returns after a stint in extended spring training. In 23 games prior to his hamstring injury, Simpson batted .316 with four home runs and 20 RBIs for the Shorebirds.

Bleeker, the Orioles 37th round pick in 2012, batted .238 in 14 games for the GCL Orioles last season.
