
Shock Fan Fest set for May 27th

SPOKANE, WA (May 19, 2006) - The Spokane Shock are proud to announce that they will hold their first ever Shock Fan Fest on May 27th at the Spokane Arena in the Main Parking Lot.
The Shock returns to the Spokane Arena after two weeks on the road to take on the Quad City Steamwheelers. Fan Fest will begin at 3:45 p.m.; two hours before the main doors open at 5:45 p.m.
Fan Fest is a free event that is open to the general public. The festivities will include live music and plenty of family friendly entertainment throughout the afternoon and into the evening right up to the 7 PM kick-off.. A separate beer garden will also be available to fans 21 years and older.
"Fans have been asking for Fan Fest all season, and we are really excited to show fans our appreciation for their support and provide a fun family event," said Julie Fanning, Shock Director of Game Day Operations.
The first 5,000 fans in the doors on May 27th will receive Shock thunder sticks. Tickets are still available at TicketsWest or by calling 325.SEAT.
