HEAD COACHES: JEFF JARNIGAN enters his second season as head coach of the Yard Dawgz. Last season he led the team to a 10-6 regular season record and a first round playoff appearance. Prior to taking over the head coaching duties in Oklahoma City, Coach Jarnigan served as the defensive coordinator for the Austin Wranglers (AFL) during the 2004 season. From 2001 through 2003 Coach Jarnigan was the defensive coordinator for the South Georgia Wildcats. Under his defense the team won two National Conference Central Division Championships and the ArenaCup in 2003.

DONNIE DAVIS was named the Wildcats second head coach in the team's five-year history on June 14, 2005. Davis served as the Offensive Coordinator for the Georgia Force (AFL) during the 2004 season. In his first game as Offensive Coordinator, Davis guided the Force to a 72-51 victory snapping a six game losing streak. During the remaining four games the Force averaged 58.3 points per game. Davis began his Arena Football League career with the Arizona Rattlers in 1997 and guided them to an Arena Bowl XI championship and earned MVP honors. After three seasons with the Rattlers, Davis joined the Milwaukee Mustangs for a season and then went on to play two seasons with the Georgia Force before retiring in 2003. Davis ended his collegiate career in 1995 at Georgia Tech in fifth place on the Yellow Jackets career passing list with 3,261 yards and touchdown passes with 22.

THIS WEEK'S QUOTES:
JEFF JARNIGAN, on South Georgia: "...South Georgia has made a lot of roster moves and is a new team... we are very familiar with their quarterback Julian Reese... Julian posses a threat not only in the pocket, but is a good runner."

DROPBACK: The Yard Dawgz were on the road last week in Arkansas, picking up the teams' third win on the road this season. Oklahoma City remains perfect on the road.

FORWARD MOTION: The Yard Dawgz travel to Bossier-Shreveport next week. Head Coach Jeff Jarnigan says that in the past his team has struggled against teams where the Yard Dawgz are heavily favored. Coach Jarnigan looks to mix things up in practice and have his team ready to remain perfect on the road.

TEAM NOTES/TRENDS: At least one Yard Dawgz' receiver has four or more touchdowns in 5/6 of Oklahoma City's games.
