
Shawn MacKenzie To Drop Puck For Battle Of Nova Scotia

A familiar face will return to the Metro Centre tomorrow night at 7pm when the Halifax Mooseheads host the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles to wrap up their holiday home and home series dubbed "The Battle of Nova Scotia."
Long time coach Shawn MacKenzie, who stood behind the bench for the Mooseheads for 11 seasons spanning 1994-2005, will perform the official puck drop for this event. MacKenzie has been a central figure in the history of this rivalry, coaching over 50 games between Nova Scotia's only two major junior teams.
Fans are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to the game tomorrow night in support of FEED NOVA SCOTIA for an opportunity to win one of the 20 special Nova Scotia jerseys worn by the Mooseheads for this event. Maximum 3 ballots per fan.
