(WHITAKER BANK BALLPARK, Lexington, Ky.) The Asheville Tourists came back from an early deficit, and then scored seven runs in the seventh inning to break the game open on their way to a 13-8 win over the Lexington Legends Saturday night. Four of the runs in the seventh came on a grand slam by Will Swanner.

Lexington took a 2-0 lead in the first inning. Delino DeShields Jr. led off with a walk and stole second. After Jordan Scott walked, DeShields stole third as Scott took second on the double steal. The runners held as Zack Johnson grounded out, but Matt Duffy's double to center field scored both DeShields and Scott. DeShields stole three bases in the game, bringing his South Atlantic League-leading total to 57 for the season.

Asheville quickly claimed the lead with three runs in the second. Swanner led off with a single, Jordan Ribera walked, and Jared Simon followed with a single, scoring Swanner and moving Ribera to second. After a sacrifice bunt and a fly out, Rosell Herrera singled to left to score Ribera and Simon, putting the Tourists in front 3-2.

The Tourists scored another run in the third on back-to-back doubles by Brian Humphries and Trevor Story.

The Legends cut the lead back to one in the bottom of the third when Johnson doubled with two outs and scored on Duffy's single to right field.

Lexington tied the game at 4-4 in the fourth. Roberto Pena led off with a single, was sacrificed to second by Chan Jong Moon, and scored on Ruben Sosa's single to center field.

Asheville moved back in front for good with two runs in the fifth, aided by three Lexington errors in the inning. Herrera led off with a walk and moved to third on Humphries' single. A pickoff attempt at first by Lexington starter Mike Foltynewicz went wide of the bag for an error, allowing Herrera to score the tie-breaking run. Story lined to Justin Gominsky in right field, but after making the catch, Gominsky dropped the ball as he started to throw, and Humphries advanced to second. Joey Wong reached on an error by Sosa, the second baseman, as Humphries took third. Swanner then grounded out to score Humphries, giving Asheville a 6-4 lead.

The Legends scored one run in the sixth when Gominsky doubled, moved to third on Sosa's infield hit, and scored when

DeShields grounded into a fielder's choice.

The Tourists exploded for seven runs in the seventh. Herrera, Humphries, and Story began the inning with consecutive singles to load the bases. Wong bunted, and Legends reliever Nathan Pettus bobbled the ball for the Legends' fourth error. Herrera scored, and Wong reached first safely to keep the bases loaded. Swanner followed with his grand slam to right field, and Asheville led 11-5. One out later, Simon walked and Jose Rivera homered, and the score was 13-5. It was Rivera's second home run in two nights and second of the season.

Lexington scored three runs in the eighth. Brandon Meredith led off with a home run. After singles by Pena and Moon, Gominsky doubled, scoring Pena and moving Moon to third. Sosa's groundout to first plated Moon for the Legends' final run.

Asheville starter Chris Jensen (8-2) got the win after allowing five runs in six and two-thirds innings.

Foltynewicz (9-2) picked up the loss, his first since opening night. He had won nine straight decisions.

The Legends and Tourists play game three of a five-game series Sunday afternoon at Whitaker Bank Ballpark. First pitch is scheduled for 1:35 p.m.
