Hamilton Tiger-Cats News Release

Hamilton, Ontario - Earlier today, the Canadian Football League announced the CFL's 2008 Offensive All-Stars. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats would like to congratulate kicker/punter Nick Setta for earning a spot on the all-star team as a punter.

Setta was the CFL's most consistent punter this season, averaging a league-leading 47.4 yards per punt. During the Ticats Week 4 game in Calgary, Setta tied the Ticats record he set last season with a 97-yard punt and would go on to establish the new Canadian Football League single-game punting average record with a mark of 64.7 yards per kick, eclipsing the old record set by former Ticats kicker Paul Osbaldiston in 2002.

The CFL All-Stars were selected by 46 voting members, including representation from the Football Reporters of Canada (FRC), the eight CFL head coaches and CFL fans from across the country.
