Calgary Stampeders News Release

The Calgary Stampeders will take on the BC Lions this Saturday in the CFL's West Final. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. at McMahon Stadium.

The Stamps host the West Final for the first time since 2000 and face a Lions team that defeated the Saskatchewan Roughriders 33-12 in last week's West Semi-Final. The Stamps have a 6-3 record against the Lions in the playoffs, but are 1-3 against them in West Finals.

The Red and White have won eight of their last nine, including a 41-30 victory over the Lions in the final week of the regular season. They finished the regular season with a 13-5 record-the best the team has had since 1996-and were first in the West Division. The Stamps swept the season series with the Lions for the first time since 2000.

Calgary has the league's No. 1 defence (allowing 21.7 points per game), the league's leading receiver in Ken-Yon Rambo (1,473 yards), the league's leading rusher in Joffrey Reynolds (1,310 yards) and scorer in Sandro DeAngelis (217 points).
