Servac Petrovsky Named Player of the Week

Forward Servac Petrovsky has been named the Owen Sound Attack Player of the Week, for the Week of Dec 5th - 11th.

The highlight of the week for the Slovakian forward was a hat-trick during Sunday afternoon's game against the visiting SOO GreyHounds. The feat marked the third game this season that Petrovsky recorded a three goal game, as he brings his season total to 14 goals, half of what he scored in his rookie season last year. On top of his three goal performance on Sunday, Petrovsky also added an assist during Friday nights game in Guelph.

The honour will have Petrovsky head out on a high note, as the Minnesota Wild prospect will be heading out east to join Team Slovakia for the upcoming World Junior Hockey Championships in Halifax/Moncton. Attack fans can follow Petrovsky on his World Junior journey through the Attack social media channels, as the team wishes him luck out at the tournament.

In a non-relate roster move the Attack have parted ways with import defensemen Luc Schweingruber, as the Switzerland native will be heading back home early this week.
