NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Wednesday night's game between the Nashville Sounds and Memphis Redbirds at First Tennessee Park has been suspended due to rain. The game will be made up on Thursday as part of a doubleheader that will begin at 6:05 p.m. The second game will follow approximately 30 minutes from the end of the first game and will be a seven-inning contest. The Redbirds will turn to top prospect Marco Gonzalez (0-2, 6.13) in the latter game, while the Sounds will give the ball to Barry Zito (7-7, 3.64).
