Senators Reward Fans of the Hershey Bears Tuesday Night
April 25, 2011 - Eastern League (EL1)
Harrisburg Senators News Release
Harrisburg, PA - The Harrisburg Senators would like to congratulate the Hershey Bears on another fantastic season, though their quest for a third straight Calder Cup Championship fell short. The two franchises and their fans are big reasons as to why the Harrisburg/Hershey area was named the top minor league market in the 2009 Street & Smith's Sports Business Journal in their semi-annual ranking.
The Senators are sorry the Bears didn't three-peat, but want to remind Bears' fans that it's now spring and with the change in the weather, it's time to leave the indoors and head outside. It was a long, cold winter, but baseball is in full swing and the Senators are playing well.
To give Bears' fans more incentive, Tuesday night the Senators are discounting their dugout box, field box, and box seats by $2 for any Bears' fan that shows a ticket stub from any Bears' home playoff game. That's right. If you went to one of the Bears' home playoff games, bring your ticket stub Tuesday night and enjoy a $2 discount. The discount is only good for tickets purchased at the Senators box office in person beginning at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday morning. Each Bears' ticket is good for one discounted Senators ticket.
Tuesday night is game two of a four-game series with the Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates), the defending Eastern League Champions. The Senators and Curve met last year in the divisional playoffs with the Curve winning three games to one.
Tickets to any remaining game this season, are available online through the Senators website 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Sens box office is open 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily, Monday through Friday, and from 9:00 a.m. until the 5th inning of all Sens home games. To order tickets over the telephone, please call (717) 231-4444.
