Senators Return Home on Friday to Begin Eight-Game Homestand

Harrisburg, PA - The Harrisburg Senators return home Friday night to take on the Bowie Baysox to begin a seven-day eight-game homestand. Over the Memorial Day weekend, the Sens play five games against the Baysox, including a doubleheader, Sunday afternoon. The Senators also host the New Hampshire Fisher Cats for a three-game series beginning Tuesday night.

Along with the great baseball, the homestand is loaded from top to bottom with fun for everyone. There are two fireworks shows, cheap hot dogs, and a special Memorial Day tribute to the US Armed Forces. The Senators also have the first of two pet nights at the ballpark on this homestand. Listed below is the homestand day-by-day schedule.

Friday night, May 27, at 7:00 p.m. the Senators kick-off the homestand with the first of a five-game series against the Bowie Baysox. Come on out for another Flatscreens & Fireworks Friday Night presented by WINK 104. The Senators are giving away a flatscreen TV once per every inning throughout the game. All fans 18 and over are eligible to win a TV. After the game, sit back and enjoy another one of the Senators outstanding fireworks shows presented by Select Medical. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. on Friday night.

Saturday night, May 28, at 7:00 p.m. the Senators and Baysox play game two of their series. Saturday night is a Youth Jersey giveaway presented by Metro Bank, WINK 104, and Hot 92.1. The first 1,000 fans, 12 and under, receive a free Senators Youth Jersey. The Senators are celebrating Salute to Summer Movies Night. Then, after the game, kids run the bases, just like their favorite Senator. Gates open on Saturday night at 5:30 p.m.

Sunday, May 29, at 5:00 p.m., the Senators and Baysox play a doubleheader. Fans can watch two seven-inning games with the second game beginning 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first. There's something for everyone in the family on Sunday. The day starts with a Canvas Beach Tote giveaway presented by Czekaj Law Office, BOB 94.9, and 97.3 The River . The first 1,000 fans, 13 and over, through the gates receive a free Senators canvas beach tote. Before the games on Sunday, be sure to arrive early for a pre-game catch on the field. Sunday is also a Kids Eat Free presented by Cost Cutters, BOB 94.9, and 97.3 The River game. Every fan 12 and under receives a free meal on Sunday. Pick up your voucher at the Kids Eat Free table near the front gates and then find one of the several locations throughout the park giving away the free meals. It's also Family Day presented by Rite Aid, BOB 94.9, & 97.3 The River. Family Day coupons are available at your area Rite Aid that gives you 4 box seats, 4 hot dogs, and 4 sodas for only $24! After the games, enjoy a special Sunday edition of post-game fireworks sponsored by WINK 104. Then, after the fireworks show, kids run the bases! Gates open at 3:30 p.m.

Monday night, May 30, at 7:00 p.m. is the final game of the five-game series against the Bowie Baysox. Celebrate Memorial Day as the Senators honor the US Armed Forces on the field prior to the game. Box seats are half-price for all active and retired military personnel and their families. Gates open at 6:00 p.m.

Tuesday night, May 31, at 7:00 p.m. the Senators begin their season series with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. It's another Kraft Singles Tuesday Night. The Senators are also celebrating Halloween Night at Metro Bank Park. Come to the ballpark in your favorite Halloween costume! The ballpark gates open at 6:00 p.m.

Wednesday night, June 1, at 7:00 p.m. the Senators and Fisher Cats play game two of their three-game series. Wednesday is another Wacky Wednesday, featuring 25-cent hot dogs presented by Kesslers and Stroehmann. Grab several hot dogs as the Senators continue to salute their 25th season! To help you root your favorite team to victory, bring your best, furry friends out to the ballpark for Pet Night. Gates open at 6:00 p.m.

Thursday night, June 2, at 7:00 p.m. the Sens wrap up the homestand and their three-game series against New Hampshire. The gates open at 6:00 p.m. Be sure to arrive early so you can enjoy another Thirsty Thursday presented by Coors Light and 105.7 The X Rocks. Purchase $2 Coors Light drafts throughout the ballpark before and during the game.

On game days, the Metro Bank Park box office is open Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. until the end of the game, and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until the end of the game. Box office hours on non-game days are Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tickets are available via telephone during the same hours as the box office hours.
