Senators Recall Forward Bobby Butler from Binghamton

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 24, 2011) - The Ottawa Senators today recalled forward Bobby Butler from the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators . He is being recalled on an emergency basis in place of an injured Jarkko Ruutu.

Butler's recall marks his third of the season by the Senators. He was held scoreless in three games following his second recall of the season by the Senators on Jan. 18. In seven NHL games this season he has recorded no points and no penalty minutes.

A native of Marlborough, Mass., Butler has 19 goals, 11 assists and 33 penalty minutes in 41 games with Binghamton this season.

The Senators return to action on Tuesday when they host the Buffalo Sabres at 7:30 p.m.
