Senators Lose to Fisher Cats 3-0

Harrisburg Senators News Release


The Harrisburg Senators fell to the New Hampshire Fisher Cats 3-0 Friday night at Delta Dental Stadium in New Hampshire. Harrisburg outhit New Hampshire 8-3 but couldn't push across any runs. The Senators bounced into two double plays and left a runner at third base twice in the game.

The Big Play

With the game scoreless in the bottom of the fourth inning and two outs, Will Robertson worked the count to 3-1 against Ronald Herrera. Robertson hit the 3-1 pitch out of the ballpark to give the Fisher Cats a 2-0 lead.

On Capitol Hill

Herrera went 5.2 innings and took the loss before leaving the game with an injury. He struck out seven in his outing. Tim Cate relieved and faced four batters in 1.1 innings striking out one. Orlando Ribalta pitched a scoreless eighth inning.

With the Gavel

Robert Hassell had two hits including a triple. Frankie Tostado had two singles and Jackson Cluff had a double.

Filibusters

It was the second time the Sens were shutout this season... The game took just 2:11 making it the shortest game the Sens have played this season... Harrisburg had at least one hit in the first seven innings.

The Senators and New Hampshire Fisher Cats play game five of their six-game series at Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester, NH Saturday at 4:05 p.m. The game can be heard on CBS Sports Radio Stations 96.5 FM, 95.3 FM, and 1400 AM beginning at 3:50 p.m.
