Semaj Christon Named to NBA D-League All-Star Game

OKLAHOMA CITY, Feb. 4, 2015 - Oklahoma City Blue guard Semaj Christon was named to the 2015 NBA Development League All-Star Game, it was announced today by the NBA D-League. The ninth annual NBA D-League All-Star Game will be played at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY on Feb. 15.

In 27 games (25 starts) this season, Christon is averaging 18.1 points, 3.4 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.41 steals in 35.7 minutes. The rookie out of Xavier is one of only two players in the NBA D-League averaging over 18 points, three rebounds, five assists and one steal. Christon has scored in double figures in all but two games this season and has produced 11 games of over 20 points and three games of over 30. He is ranked seventh in assists per game among current NBA D-League players.

Christon was drafted as the 55th overall selection in the 2014 NBA Draft by the Charlotte Hornets. His draft rights were acquired by the Oklahoma City Thunder on draft night.

The NBA D-League All-Star Game will tip off Sunday, Feb. 15, at 1:30 CT and will air live on NBA TV.
