Jabari Brown Named to NBA D-League All-Star Team

EL SEGUNDO - Jabari Brown has been named to the 2015 NBA D-League All-Star team, it was announced today. The All-Star Game, which tips off at 2:30 p.m. ET on February 15th at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, will air live on NBA TV.

Brown currently ranks third in the NBA D-League in scoring with 22.9 points per game, also averaging 4.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. The rookie out of Missouri came off the bench as the D-Fenders sixth man for the first 14 games of the season, tallying 18.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 26.7 minutes per game. Since being inserted into the starting lineup, Brown is averaging 27.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.4 steals per game in 41.7 minutes. Brown has reached the 20-point mark in 19 games, including six games of 30 points or more.

On January 10th, Brown set an NBA D-League season-high with 50 points in a 124-99 victory at Sioux Falls. Brown shot 68.2% (15-22), finishing 6-of-9 from three point range and 14-of-17 from the free throw line. In three games between January 5th and 11th, Brown tallied 32.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists, leading the D-Fenders to a 2-1 record and earning Brown NBA D-League "Performer of the Week" honors.
