Spokane, WA - Two nights after hitting a walk-off grand slam, Ruben Sierra delivered again. Spokane's leftfielder with a flair for the dramatic scorched a key two-run double in the second inning that gave the Indians a 3-0 lead on their way to a 4-3 win over Eugene. The Indians had a season- high sold-out crowd of 6,953 fans at Avista Stadium for Fireworks Night presented by Hallmark Hyundai, KXLY4 HD, and Coyote Country 99.9 FM.

Santo Perez, the Northwest League leader in wins with five, delivered another solid starting per- formance as he held the Emeralds to just one run in four innings pitched. Left-hander Chris Hanna (1-1) picked up the victory with two innings of relief and Matt West closed out the game for his third save of the season.

Sierra finished the night 2-3 and now has eight RBI's over his last three games. Catcher Yefry Cas- tillo walloped a solo home run over The Spokesman-Review sign in leftfield and Trever Adams added to his league-leading double total with a run scoring two-bagger in the fifth.

Tomorrow's game is the finale of a five-game series against Eugene and is Future Texas Rangers Night presented by City Auto Body and K102 FM. Indians players will be wearing Texas Rangers jerseys that will be auctioned off with proceeds benefiting the Special Olympics. There will also be autographed baseballs from former Spokane Indians and current Texas Rangers stars Ian Kinsler, Neftali Feliz, Mitch Moreland, Tommy Hunter, Derek Holland, and Julio Borbon.
