Boise Hawks News Release

EVERETT, Wash. - Jose Campos limited Boise to just four hits over six-plus innings, while Larry Gonzalez drove in three runs, as the Everett Aquasox won their fourth in a row, a 9-4 victory over the Hawks this afternoon at Everett Memorial Stadium.

Campos struck out six men without a walk to notch his third win of the year - as Everett improved to 4-2 in the second half of the Northwest League season.

The Aquasox jumped out to a 4-0 lead - getting an RBI double by Gonzalez in the second, a two-run homer by Jharmidy DeJesus in the third, while a botched stolen base by Jorge Agudelo, featuring a pair of Boise errors, led to an unearned run in the fourth.

A sacrifice fly by Rafael Lopez in the sixth got the Hawks within 4-1, but Everett put it away in the sixth, getting an RBI double from Patrick Brady, a two-run triple by Gonzalez, and an Agudelo sacrifice fly, to push the lead to 8-1.

Ramon Morla and Brady each had three hits for the Aquasox, part of a 16-hit attack.

Boise got two hits each from Jesus Morelli, Kenny Socorro, and Zeke DeVoss - with DeVoss driving in a run in the ninth with an RBI double.

Both teams have Monday off, with the Hawks returning home on Tuesday to open a five-game series with Salem-Keizer.

NOTES - Wes Darvill ended a 1-for-29 slump with a ninth inning single...Boise has now lost 13 of their last 15 road games, dating back to July 2...
