Second Home Stands Opens Saturday

OMAHA, NE - After spending most of last season with Kansas City, right-hander Luke Hochevar is scheduled to start for the Omaha Royals this Saturday night when the team returns to Rosenblatt Stadium. Hochevar, who has won each of his first three starts and posted a 1.89 ERA in the process, is slated to throw the first pitch of the four-game series at 7:05 p.m. These exciting promotions are scheduled for the second home stand of the season:

Saturday, April 25, 7:05 p.m.: Gates open at 6:00 p.m. and the 1st 1,500 fans will receive a Casey liquid soap dispenser for the house, courtesy of Coca-Cola! The night is also presented by the Big O 101.9, WOWT and The Reader!

Sunday, April 26, 1:35 p.m.: It's U.S. Bank Family FUNday, with clowns, face painting and balloon art, plus after the game all kids are invited to run the bases with Casey! All Subway Kids Club members receive a FREE ticket to the game, courtesy of Subway. Plus, any fan bringing an Our Family Brand food item to the stadium gets a FREE G.A. ticket! Also, area students who read four books in the Nebraska College Savings Program's "Hit the Books" program received a FREE ticket to the game. It's also Dance Team Day, with area dance groups performing throughout the game! The day is also presented by KGBI 100.7 FM and KPTM.

Monday, April 27, 6:35 p.m.: It's the 1st dollar dog night - featuring $1 hot dogs, brought to you by Rotella's Italian Bakery! Plus, it's the second "Hit the Books" game, with FREE tickets for area students who read four books, presented by the Nebraska College Savings Program. The night is also presented by 89.7 The River and the Daily Nonpareil.

Tuesday, April 28, 12:05 p.m.: The Royals invite you to play hooky from work and enjoy half-price Omaha Steaks burgers along with an afternoon of Major League-affiliated professional baseball. The day is also presented by KFAB.
