Second Half of Season Kicks off with Eight-Game Homestand

FRESNO, CA - The first-place Fresno Grizzlies return from the All-Star break for an eight-game homestand starting Thursday, July 15th at Chukchansi Park. Fresno, which leads the Pacific South Division by three games, will take on Las Vegas and Salt Lake for four games apiece.

The fun begins Thursday, July 15th with Thirsty Thursday, presented by Tecate. Enjoy $1 12-ounce Tecate and Tecate Light beers through the fifth inning, and $1 12-ounce sodas all night long.

Get ready for a Friday packed full of entertainment beginning with a Dave Dravecky Appearance and Autograph Session, presented by ACEL - Fresno Charter High School. The Giants legend will sign autographs and address the crowd from the field after the game on Christian Fellowship Night. The crowd will also be treated to a Drag Kings Performance, presented by Tickets.com, as well as traditional Friday Night Fireworks, presented by Macy's, after Dravecky's appearance.

Saturday, July 17th brings with it the promotion every fan can get excited about. That's right, it's the Cold Hard Cash Giveaway, presented by Chukchansi Gold Resort and Casino. Each of the first 2,500 fans through the door will receive an envelope with anywhere between $1 and $1,000 in cash, with $7,500 in total prize money.

The Grizzlies wrap up their four-game set against Las Vegas with another Save Mart Sunday. First, fans will also have a chance to meet the stars of the future at the Future Giants Autograph Session. Then they will have a chance to have a Family Catch on the Field, as the Grizzlies invite everyone to come out and have a pregame catch on the grass at Chukchansi Park. Following the game, kids 12 and under can take the field and Run The Bases, presented by Subway, just like their favorite Grizzlies players.

Fresno will kick off its series with Salt Lake on Monday, July 19th with another Monday Madness, presented by ABC 30. Fans can enjoy a family entertainment package that includes two Field Level Reserve tickets, two hot dogs, two sodas, two Wild Water Adventure Park passes and two Blackbeard's Mini Golf passes. A total package value of over $100, Monday Madness is available to Grizzlies fans for just $32, every Monday home game in 2010.

Tuesday, July 20th is Park N' Play Tuesday, presented by the Fresno Bee. Fans that park in any ACE parking lot will receive a free ticket for that night's game. Wednesday, April 21st marks the third annual installment of Kid-A-Palooza, the most fun your kids will have all summer. The event will be marked by a celebrity appearance by Brobee=81 from the popular children's show Yo Gabba Gabba!. The game will also feature free Helados Mexico ice cream and 25-cent hot dogs, presented by Evergood Fine Foods, for everyone in attendance, as well as the chance for kids to run the bases following the game (usually reserved for Sunday games).
