Second Annual "Scout Sleepover" Coming Up January 25th

January 9, 2003 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Connecticut Whale News Release

Hartford, January 7, 2003 -- Hartford Wolf Pack Vice-President and General Manager Al Coates announced today that the Wolf Pack's second annual "Scout Sleepover" will take place Saturday, January 25th, when the Pack host the defending Calder Cup champion Chicago Wolves at the Hartford Civic Center. The game, originally scheduled for 7:05 PM, has been changed to a 7:35 faceoff.

"This night was a huge success last year," Coates said. "All of our available spaces were sold out, and the scouts had a great time during and after the game."

Scout groups can take advantage of a special scout ticket rate of $12 per ticket, and all scouts attending the game are invited to bring their sleeping bags and "sleep over" in the Civic Center's Exhibition Hall after the game. There will be a "scout jamboree" atmosphere, with snacks, songs and lots of other fun. Space is limited, so the Wolf Pack encourages scouts and their leaders to make their reservations for the Sleepover as soon as possible. Call the Wolf Pack ticket office at 860-548-2000.

Wolf Pack 2002-03 season-ticket, multi-game, coupon book and group-discount packages, as well as single-game tickets, are all currently on sale. For further information, contact the Wolf Pack ticket office at 860-548-2000. And for Wolf Pack sponsorship/advertising opportunities, contact Sales at 860-246-7825.
