
Sebastián Driussi to Take Part in 2022 MLS All-Star Skills Challenge

Austin, TEXAS - Major League Soccer (MLS) today announced Austin FC midfielder and Designated Player Sebastián Driussi as 1 of 10 players selected to compete in the 2022 MLS All-Star Skills Challenge presented by AT&T 5G on Aug. 9 at Allianz Field. Driussi and nine (9) other MLS players will compete in tests of five (5) skills against a team of 10 players from Liga MX.
"In addition to his participation in the MLS All-Star Game, we're very proud of Sebastián for being selected to take part in the MLS All-Star Skills Challenge," said Austin FC Sporting Director Claudio Reyna. "Anyone who has watched Austin FC play since Sebastián joined the Club knows the special things he can do on a soccer field, and we're excited to see him showcase his abilities alongside some of the best players in MLS."
The All-Star Skills Challenge begins at 7:30 p.m. CT on Aug. 9 and will be televised live on ESPN2 and TUDN. The full list of 10 MLS players taking part in the 2022 MLS All-Star Skills Challenge is as follows:

The MLS All-Star Skills Challenge presented by AT&T 5G will test players from MLS and Liga MX in the following five (5) events: Shooting Challenge presented by AT&T 5G; Touch Challenge presented by Old Spice; Cross & Volley Challenge presented by AT&T 5G; Passing Challenge presented by Bounty; and Crossbar Challenge presented by GilletteLabs. Additional information - including rules and scoring for each competition - will be announced in the coming weeks.
