SEATTLE - The Seattle Storm today signed 6-2 forward Willnett Crockett, Storm Head Coach and Director of Player Personnel Anne Donovan announced. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Crockett was originally selected by the Los Angeles Sparks in the second round (22nd pick overall) of the 2006 WNBA Draft and was waived on May 16, prior to the start of the 2006 WNBA regular season. She appeared in one preseason game for the Sparks this spring, gathering four points and one rebound in 10 minutes. The Connecticut alum averaged 3.5 points and 5.1 rebounds and recorded 36 steals in 37 games for the Huskies her senior season.

The Storm's final regular season game at KeyArena this Saturday is Fan Appreciation Night and the Storm are offering special ticket prices as an incentive for fans to pack the Key one final time this regular season. Fans can purchase $10 Sue Bird tickets, $15 Lauren Jackson tickets and $22 Betty Lennox tickets for the Storm's battle with the Sting at 7 p.m. This special offer is available at storm.wnba.com or the KeyArena Box Office. In addition, the first 3,000 fans through the KeyArena doors will receive a 2006 Storm Team Poster courtesy of Allstate.

The Seattle Sonics & Storm organization manages the Puget Sound region's professional basketball franchises - the NBA's Seattle SuperSonics and the WNBA's Seattle Storm. The organization oversees all sales, marketing, finance, public relations and basketball operations for the teams.
