Seattle Reign FC News Release
SEATTLE, WA. - Seattle Reign FC announced its roster ahead of the 2024 season, kicking off on Sunday, March 17, against the Washington Spirit at Lumen Field.
Seattle has 26 players under contract for the 2024 season, in addition to defender Jimena Lopez and midfielder Luany, who are both on loan through June. Among the 26 players, 18 of them were with the club last season.
Returning for their 12th season with the Reign are club originals Lauren Barnes and Jess Fishlock, making them two of three active players in the league to play for the same club every year since 2013.
Seattle is utilizing four international slots among the active roster with forward Jordyn Huitema (Canada), midfielder Angharad James (Wales), midfielder Ji So-Yun (South Korea) and defender Lily Woodham (Wales).
In addition to James, Ji and Woodham, the club added draft selections Maddie Mercado and Sam Meza, U-18 forward Emeri Adames, defender Julia Lester and forward McKenzie Weinert to the 2024 roster.
