The Sea Dogs and Binghamton Mets continue their six-game series with a doubleheader on Wednesday night at Hadlock Field...Portland is 5-1 during their 9-game homestand, which ends tomorrow night.

NICE ACCOMPLISHMENT : The Sea Dogs clinched a winning homestand with last night's win, and continue their six-game series with the Binghamton Mets on Wednesday night, playing their second doubleheader of the series...Portland is 1-0-2 in twinbills this season...The 'Dogs are 13 games over .500 since they were 36-23 in 2008 - last time they were 14 games over .500 was July 19, 2006 (55-41) and 15 games over .500 was July 16, 2006 (54-39)...RHP Keith Couch is 13-1, 2.83 ERA as a starter in Double-A.

EARLY INNINGS WERE KEY : Portland scored both runs in the fourth and received six strong innings from LHP Brian Johnson, and beat the B-Mets 2-1 on Tuesday night...The Mets took a 1-0 lead in the second on a sacrifice fly by 3B Dustin Lawley...C Blake Swihart tied the game with a solo-homer in the fourth...RF Henry Ramos scored the game-winning run on a throwing error by 1B Matt Clark...Johnson gave up four hits, one run, one walk and fanned six...RHP Matty Ott worked out of huge jam in the eighth to earn a hold and RHP Noe Ramirez pitched around a two-base error by LF Derrik Gibson to secure his 4th save.
