The Sea Dogs and Akron RubberDucks (Indians affiliate) continue their three-game series on Saturday night at Canal Park...Portland dropped the series opener, 6-1 on Friday night.

NEWS AND NOTES
OH HENRY : LHP Henry Owens makes his 13th start of the season in game two of the series on Saturday night against the Akron RubberDucks (Indians affiliate) at Canal Park...Owens has not allowed a run in his last 22.1 innings pitch, and if he starts the game with two scoreless, he will set the franchise mark, currently held by LHP Kris Johnson (24 scoreless from June 15-July 1, 2008)...Portland is currently 4-4 during an 18-game stretch against the Western Division and 1-1 on their 8-game roadtrip.
13 WAS LUCKY : Akron had 13 hits on Friday the 13th and beat the Sea Dogs 6-1 on Friday night in the series opener...The Ducks snapped a 1-1 tied with three runs in the third inning off losing pitcher LHP Mickey Pena (2-2)...Pena tied a team-high, yielding 11 hits and all six runs over 6.1 IP...Akron's 4 & 5 hitters, Joe Wendle (3-for-3, 3 RBI) and Bryan LaHair (3-for-4, 2 RBI) went a combined 6-for-7 with 5 RBI...RHP Will Roberts (2-2) worked six strong innings on six hits and one run to earn the win...Portland's lone run came in the third inning on a sacrifice fly by Blake Swihart.
