The Harrisburg Senators used a five-run seventh inning to pull away from the Bowie Baysox on Saturday night to win 8-4 - their seventh consecutive victory.

Brett Brach earned the win in his Senators debut by scattering seven hits in six scoreless innings. Brach became the fourth Senator to throw six or more scoreless innings. He was relieved by Paul Demny who fired two innings without allowing Bowie to score. Derek Self began the ninth inning, allowing four unearned runs, before Neil Holland came on to close the door.

The Senators jumped on top early with doubles from Michael Taylor (3-for-5, 10-game hit streak) and Cutter Dykstra (2-for-4, two RBI), with the Dykstra's two-bagger scoring Taylor to make it 1-0, Senators. Harrisburg would tack on two in the fifth on an RBI infield single by Taylor, which was followed by a sacrifice fly to afford the Senators with a three-run advantage. In the seventh, the Senators broke out with a five run inning that included an RBI single from Dykstra, a three-run double by Matt Skole (2-for-4, three RBI) and an RBI single from Kevin Keyes. The Senators have outscored their opponents 44-13 after the fifth inning in their last nine games.

Harrisburg goes for its consecutive series sweep tomorrow with Brian Dupra on the mound. He will be opposed by Bowie's Tim Berry, who is facing the Senators for the fourth time this season already.
