DIFFERENT LOOK (SERIES 0-0):The Sea Dogs open up a three-game series on Monday night against the New Britain Rock Cats at Hadlock Field...New Britain is now affiliated with the Colorado Rockies, after ending their player development contract with the Minnesota Twins...Portland dropped two of three in their opening series against Reading, the Rock Cats lost three of four in New Hampshire...Portland and New Britain will meet 17 times this season.
THAT WAS A TOUGH ONE: Reading scored 10 runs over five innings, and beat the Sea Dogs 10-2 on Sunday afternoon...At one point during the series, the Fightins scored 19 unanswered runs, before the 'Dogs scored twice in the eighth inning on RBI singles from Blake Tekotte and Jantzen Witte...Reading received six scoreless from Zach Eflin in his Double-A debut and Brock Stassi blasted three-run homer.
