Feesers, Inc. Announced as Food Service Provider for FirstEnergy Stadium

Beginning with the 2015 season, the Reading Fightin Phils have announced that Feesers, Inc. Distributors will be the team's food service supplier at FirstEnergy Stadium. As part of the multi-year partnership between the two organizations, Feesers, Inc. will also hold signage and be the presenting sponsor for two games this season among other elements of the deal.

"The food is one of the most important parts of the Reading Fightin Phils experience," said Fightins General Manager Scott Hunsicker. "When longtime partner Van Bennett unfortunately went out of business, it was imperative for us to find the right food distribution partner going forward. We are confident that Feesers is that partner. Feeser's family-owned and operated business guarantees that we can continue to provide the best quality food at the lowest possible prices."

Founded in 1901 as a fruit and produce wholesaler, Feesers, Inc. is family-owned and operated and has grown into a full-line foodservice distributor. Located in the Harrisburg and Hershey area of Central Pennsylvania, Feesers, Inc. services restaurants, healthcare facilities, educational facilities, and other institutions throughout Pennsylvania and the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Along with the announcement of the Fightins' new food service provider, a pair of new stands will be open at FirstEnergy Stadium this season offering a new take on some classic ballpark favorites. Located in Tompkins VIST Bank Plaza, the Fightins Frozen Ice Cream stand is full of tasty treats perfect for those summer nights. The concessions stand is the go-to spot at each game for delicious sweets and dessert items such as Green's Ice Cream, Funnel Cakes, and two new items that are sure to be popular with fans of all ages.

The Funnel Cake with Ice Cream takes two FirstEnergy favorites and combines them into a delectable delight that you could share with the family...or keep for yourself! Combining fried dough, powdered sugar, and Green's Ice Cream, the Funnel Cake with Ice Cream will only be available at the new Fightins Ice Cream stand.

Joining the Funnel Cake with Ice Cream on the menu are OREO Churros. A mixture of the popular pastry and America's Favorite Cookie, the chocolate churro sticks feature a crispy exterior and warm, soft interior with real OREO cookie pieces in each bite.

Get ready for the revolution...the Pretzel Revolution now located behind the St. Joseph's Regional Health Network '67 Club Picnic Area on the third base side of the stadium. Specializing in crafting mouth-watering food, the Pretzel Revolution stand will feature items like the Buffalo Chicken Pretzel, Chicken Bacon Ranch Pretzel, and many more from the Kutztown-based restaurant.

Celebrating the 65th Season of Baseball at America's Classic Ballpark, the Fightins kick off their home season on Friday, April 17th at Fightins Opening Night when they host the Richmond Flying Squirrels, Double-A affiliate of the 2014 World Series Champion San Francisco Giants. The first 3000 adults 15 & over will receive a 65th Season of Baseball at America's Classic Ballpark Fleece Blanket thanks to CJ's Tire and Automotive Services and VF Outlet. One lucky fan will also win a trip for two to Phillies Spring Training 2016 thanks to White Star Tours & Travel Center.
