Lansing Lugnuts News Release

LANSING, Mich. - The Lansing Lugnuts, in conjunction with the Toronto Blue Jays, announced today that relief pitcher Scott Gracey has been promoted to Dunedin (A-Adv., Florida State League) with pitcher John Anderson transferred to Lansing from Dunedin in a corresponding move.

Gracey, 24, was 4-1 with a 1.71 ERA in 12 appearances this season, his second year in Lansing, allowing a microscopic .147 batting average (11-for-75) while limiting the opposition to just 16 baserunners in 21 innings. His 12 appearances ranked him second on the team behind closer Steve Turnbull.

Anderson, 22, recorded a 3-6 record with a 4.52 ERA in 21 starts as a member of the Lugnuts' 2009 rotation, but missed the entire 2010 season due to injury.

The Lugnuts' roster currently comprises 25 active players and five players on the Disabled List.
