
School Supply Drive to Kick off at Hillcats Game

Presbyterian Homes & Family Services (PHFS) and the Family Alliance are hosting a school supply drive to help children in the surrounding area that need help in making this coming school year a success. The drive will kick off at the Lynchburg Hillcats home game on Monday, July 11th at 7:05pm where fans can drop of school supplies before the game to help others make the grade!
PHFS and the Family Alliance work to provide services and programs to help children and adults in the surrounding community. Through programs like credit counseling, parenting classes and residential care for at-risk teens and adults with intellectual disabilities, PHFS and the Family Alliance, who merged in July 2010, strive to strengthen families and insure success!
The school supply drive begins on Monday, July 11th and continues through Sunday, August 14th. To find a complete list of supplies needed visit www.phfs.org. Supplies will be collected at City Stadium on the day of the game but may be donated throughout the drive at any of the following locations:
Lynchburg Locations: Alternatives Salon; Anthony & Co., Art'Dei Capelli; Before and After; Caterpillar Clubhouse; Changes; Classic Hair and Tan; Fusion the Salon; Hair Dimensions; Legacy at Linden Park; Mia Bella; Michelle & Associates; Strands; The Vistas; Turning Headz; Wyndhurst Villas.

So come out to City Stadium on Monday, July 11th to help out your community and catch a game of baseball too! To purchase tickets to that evening's game or any game this season, fans may call (434) 528-1144 or may go online. Fans may also stop by the Lynchburg Hillcats Ticket Office anytime Mon.-Fri. 9am-5pm.
