Portland blanked the Senators 7-0 Thursday night at FNB Field. The Senators managed just five hits while Portland scored a run in the first and four more in the sixth before coasting to the win.
ON CAPITAL HILL
Ryan Tapani made the spot start and pitched four strong innings allowing just a run.
Jhonatan German followed Tapani and went two innings allowing four runs.
Bryan Dobzanski tossed two innings and allowed two runs, one unearned while striking out two.
Pearson McMahan finished the game with a scoreless ninth inning.
WITH THE GAVEL
Rhett Wiseman singled in the first inning to extend his hitting streak to six games.
Cole Freeman and Aldrem Corredor both doubled in the game.
FILIBUSTERS
It was the fifth time in the first 26 games that the Sens have been shutout. Harrisburg turned two double-plays and have now turned a league high 22.

The Senators and Portland Sea Dogs play game four of their six-game series Friday night at FNB Field. Game time Friday is 7:00 p.m. The game can be heard on CBS Sports Radio Harrisburg 96.5FM 95.3FM and 1400AM beginning at 6:40 p.m.
