Rome, GA - The Rome Braves were defeated by the Asheville Tourists in a low scoring game 1-0 in front of 3,352 fans.

The Tourists scored their lone run in the fourth inning when Francisco Sosa hit a home run over the left field wall on a 3-2 pitch. Unfortunately that was all the Tourists needed to shutout the Braves.

The Braves and Tourists square off again tomorrow at 2pm for the last game of the series. For ticket information, contact the Rome Braves at 706-378-5144 or log onto www.romebraves.com.
