
Inaugural No Excuses 5/10K Held Today

Rome, GA - The inaugural No Excuses 5/10K was held today at State Mutual Stadium. The first time event was held in memory of local fitness and health trainer Scott Hines and benefited the Braves Miracle Field of Rome.
Scott Hines was known throughout Rome and the state of Georgia for his personal and sports performance training, especially with high school and collegiate athletes. He was the founder of Rome's Pro Performance and a former State Director for the National Strength and Conditioning Association in both South Carolina and Georgia. Scott's "No Excuses" motto challenged many, despite age or athletic ability, to get personally fit and active.
The Rome Braves continue their series tonight against the Asheville Tourists at seven with the series concluding tomorrow at 2pm. For ticket information call 706-378-5144.
