Rome, GA - The inaugural No Excuses 5/10K was held today at State Mutual Stadium. The first time event was held in memory of local fitness and health trainer Scott Hines and benefited the Braves Miracle Field of Rome.

He was the founder of Rome's Pro Performance and a former State Director for the National Strength and Conditioning Association in both South Carolina and Georgia. Scott's "No Excuses" motto challenged many, despite age or athletic ability, to get personally fit and active.
