This Saturday, December 7, the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders will be in the Christmas spirit as they face off against the Chicago Steel at the Stable. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in attendance, and their habit for gift-giving will be contagious.
Culver's will be handing out 1,000 FREE kids' jerseys, and Anderson Automotive will have a surprise for less fortunate children during intermission. All in attendance are also encouraged to wear their ugliest sweaters for an ugly sweater contest. Fans can even hit the ice after the game for a skate with the players.
It will be a night of generosity and Christmas fun for fans, and especially for kids - all that, plus exciting hockey. The puck will drop at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by calling 319-247-0340 or visiting the RoughRiders website at www.roughridershockey.com.
