With six games to go in the Midwest League season Snappers infielder Ramon Santana has been promoted to double A New Britain.
This season with the Snappers Santana batted .296 in 103 games, driving in 60 runs, hitting nine home runs and scoring 46 times.
Back in April Santana was named Minnesota Twins Player of the month when he hit .393 with five doubles, three home runs, and 10 runs driven in. He also had a slugging percentage of .643 in the month of April.
Santana was the team leader in batting average and total bases (168), was tied in RBI's, and was second on the team with nine home runs.
The Snappers end the regular season back at Pohlman Field with a three game series against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers starting Saturday, September 5th with first pitch schedule at 7:00pm.
