
Santa Cruz Warriors Post Season-High 120 Points to Defeat Maine

PORTLAND, Maine - The Santa Cruz Warriors defeated the Maine Red Claws 120-101 in a game where six Warriors players scored in double figures.
The Santa Cruz Warriors were led by Stefhon Hannah, who scored 20 points and dished out six assists. Taylor Griffin scored 18 points, while Hilton Armstrong and Edwin Ubiles each had 17 off the bench. Mickell Gladness chipped in with 16 points and two blocks, while Cameron Jones added 11 points. Lance Goulbourne grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds.
Maine was paced by Micah Downs, who scored a game-high 28 points and corralled eight rebounds. DaJuan Summers recorded the only double-double of the night with 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Andre Barrett added 17 points and had a game-high 11 assists.
Maine led by two points with 9:52 left in the first quarter, but the Warriors went on a 7-0 run and kept the lead for the rest of the game. The Warriors posted a season-high 120 points, besting their previous high of 115 against Idaho on December 15.
The Warriors shot an impressive 51.0% from the field, while holding the Red Claws to 43.5%. Santa Cruz won the rebounding battle (51-38) and outscored Maine in the paint (62-38).
