Balanced 66ers Attack Tops D-fenders, 107-84

TULSA, OK - The Tulsa 66ers topped the Los Angeles D-Fenders, 107-84, on Friday night at the SpiritBank Event Center behind Oklahoma City Thunder assignee Jeremy Lamb's 30 points, eight rebounds and four steals.

Lamb went 12-for-16 from the field, including 3-for-5 from behind the 3-point arc in 26:52 of action. Fellow Thunder assignee Daniel Orton scored eight points with six rebounds.

Five 66ers scored in double-digit numbers, including Hollis Thompson with 16 points and six boards and Andy Rautins with 14 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Dominique Sutton and Rasual Butler added 13 and 12 points, respectively.

As a team, Tulsa posted season-high numbers for rebounds (57) and assists (29). Ten different 66ers recorded at least one assist and all 12 players on Tulsa's active roster saw at least eight minutes of playing time.

Los Angeles was led by Courtney Fortson with 21 points, seven assists and six steals.

After holding the Iowa Energy to 13 first-quarter points on Tuesday night, the Tulsa (12-11) defense came out strong again - holding Los Angeles (7-15) to 11 points in the first frame.

Trailing the D-Fenders, 9-8, with six minutes remaining in the first, Tulsa closed the quarter on an 18-2 run that included a stretch of 14 unanswered points. The 66ers, who led by as many as 36 points, controlled the remainder of the game en route to their third-straight win.
