EL SEGUNDO, CA - The Santa Cruz Warriors (8-7) fell to the South Bay Lakers (10-4), 128-116, on Wednesday night at the UCLA Health Training Center in El Segundo, CA.

Center James Wiseman, on assignment from Golden State, led the Sea Dubs with 31 points and six rebounds. Guard Lester Quinones followed with 24 points and six rebounds and guard Gui Santos added 17 points and nine rebounds.

Guard Scotty Pippen Jr. led the Lakers with 30 points and guard Max Christie, on assignment from Los Angeles, added 24 points. Center Jay Huff added 20 points and seven rebounds and guard Shaquille Harrison finished with a triple-double today, notching 15 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists for South Bay.

The Warriors went on an 14-0 run to open the first quarter and lead 39-30 heading into the second frame. The contest featured multiple lead changes in the second quarter, but the Lakers regained the lead, 68-66 heading into the second half. Wiseman led the Warriors with 19 points and Quinones scored 17 points in the first half.

The game was competitive throughout the third quarter, with 10 points from Max Christie giving the Lakers a 107-95 lead heading into the final frame. The Sea Dubs offense fought back in the fourth quarter, but could not regain the lead, falling 128-116 to the Lakers.

The Santa Cruz Warriors return to Santa Cruz to face the G League Ignite on Friday, December 16 at 7:00 p.m. PST at Kaiser Permanente Arena.
