Santa Cruz Warriors Fall to Fort Wayne Mad Ants, 134-96

LAS VEGAS, NV - The Santa Cruz Warriors (8-9) fell to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants (11-6), 134-96, on Tuesday afternoon at the 2022 AT&T Winter Showcase located in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Forward Elijah Pemberton led the Sea Dubs with 24 points and guard Lester Quinones followed with 17 points and five rebounds. Forward Zeke Moore added 13 points and seven assists off the bench and center Trevion Williams contributed a double-double, totaling 11 points and 14 rebounds.

Forward Terry Taylor led the Mad Ants with 28 points and seven rebounds and center Deividas Sirvydis added 19 points and five rebounds. Forward Justin Anderson finished with a double-double, notching 17 points and 10 assists.

The Mad Ants went on a 9-0 run to open the contest and were able to secure a 39-23 lead heading into the second quarter. Fort Wayne outscored Santa Cruz 36-24 in the second frame to take a 75-47 lead at the half.

The Mad Ants built a 41-point lead in the third quarter and were able to maintain a 109-73 advantage heading into the final quarter. Anderson scored nine of his 17 points in the fourth quarter and helped secure the Mad Ants victory over the Warriors, 134-96.
