LAS VEGAS, NV - The Texas Legends (8-9) grabbed their first victory over the Raptors 905 in their Winter Showcase opener at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. Using a balanced offensive attack led by Tyler Dorsey, the Legends finished 123-115.

The Raptors took a quick 7-0 lead before Dorsey put Texas on the board. Texas stayed within striking distance and tied it up before the buzzer sounded at 38-all. The second quarter stayed even closer with 13 lead changes before Texas took a 69-66 edge into the locker room.

The Legends held that lead through the second half, going on a 16-4 run midway through the third to safely hold a double-digit advantage heading into the fourth. With Texas on top 98-85, the target score was set for 123. Justin Champagnie fired off 15 points in the fourth, and with Texas at 120, the Raptors knocked down nine unanswered before Grant Riller grabbed the final three points to put it away.

All five starters finished with double-digits, led by Dorsey with a game-high 28 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists. Riller added 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists off the bench, while Jaden Hardy grabbed 17 points, 5 assists in 23 minutes.
