JACKSON, Tenn. - The Miami Marlins announced a of transaction that impacts their Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Suns roster prior to tonight's game against the Jackson Generals at The Ballpark at Jackson scheduled for 8:05 p.m. ET.

Right-handed relief pitcher Jesus Sanchez has been transferred from the Suns to Triple-A New Orleans. Sanchez was just added to the Suns roster yesterday from Batavia but did not appear in a game for the Suns.

Sanchez began the season with Triple-A New Orleans, going 0-3 with a 6.66 ERA in 17 games and one start. Sanchez is a former Southern Leauger, pitching for the Huntsville Stars in 2011 and 2012, and for his career he is 7-9 with a 3.87 ERA in 62 games pitched and 14 starts with 12 saves at the Double-A level. Sanchez was signed by the Marlins as a minor league free agent on Nov. 19, 2013.

The Suns roster now stands at 24 active players and a revised roster is attached.

Tonight the Suns continue their five-game series with the Jackson Generals at 8:05 p.m. ET, although first pitch has been delayed due to weather.
