SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes face their first road test of the 2012 season at Toronto FC on Saturday, March 24. Kickoff at BMO Field in Toronto, Ont., is scheduled for 10 a.m. PT. The match will air live on Comcast SportsNet California, TSN, 1590 KLIV (English) and 1370 KZSF (Spanish).
The Earthquakes (1-1-0, 3 pts.) have split their first two matches at home to open the new campaign, edging the New England Revolution, 1-0, at Buck Shaw Stadium on March 10, before falling by that same score to the Houston Dynamo at AT&T Park on March 17. Toronto FC (0-1-0, 0 pts.) dropped a 3-1 decision at Seattle Sounders FC on March 17 to begin its fifth season as an MLS franchise. The Reds are the lone MLS representative left alive in the CONCACAF Champions League, awaiting a semifinal first-leg meeting at home with Mexican side Santos Laguna on March 28.
San Jose aims to remain unbeaten in Toronto, having posted a 1-0-3 record in four previous appearances at BMO Field since 2008.
